Tahir Abdullaev is already plotting his next move in the UFC.

After making a successful promotional debut in Baku, Abdullaev told mma-tv.com that he expects to return to training next week and is targeting a late October or early November comeback.

“I’ll start preparing next week, and most likely I’ll have one fight at the end of October or the beginning of November,” Abdullaev said.

The former MMA Series standout said his immediate focus is on staying active, adjusting to the UFC level and building momentum before calling out bigger names.

“The main thing is to get a couple more fights in and start feeling at home,” Abdullaev said. “I need to prepare well. We’ll get ready, build up physically, and then we’ll see who to call out. We’ll win one more fight, and after that we’ll really start pushing.”

Abdullaev added that he has three fights left on his current UFC deal.
