MMA Series is bringing back one of its most unusual concepts at MMA Series-94, with a 2-on-2 bout set to take place under the MMA Fan Series format.

It will be the promotion’s second fight of this kind. The format made its debut one year ago at the milestone MMA Series-90 event, when Arimarcel Santos and Lucas Nascimento defeated Sanzhar Azhibayev and Kulmurat Orozov.

This time, Andrey Vasilenko and Artem Gudkov will team up to face Magomed Musaev and Tamraz Kusilov inside the cage.

Vasilenko is a familiar name to MMA Series fans. He has competed three times under the promotion’s banner, winning two of those bouts. His only loss came against lightweight champion Dmitry Mikhailidi. He will be joined by Gudkov, a Master of Sport in hand-to-hand combat and a two-time champion in the discipline.

Standing across from them will be Musaev and Kusilov, who have accepted the challenge of stepping into an unconventional format and making their MMA Series debuts in a team showdown.

The Vasilenko/Gudkov vs. Musaev/Kusilov matchup is expected to be one of the standout attractions of MMA Series-94.
