Russian heavyweight Sergei Kharitonov has revealed his list of the greatest heavyweight fighters in MMA history.
Speaking to Fedor Ryzhov of MMA-TV.com, Kharitonov named five fighters he believes belong among the all-time elite at heavyweight — but notably left out Fedor Emelianenko, whom he had previously included in similar rankings.
“Jon Jones, definitely. Antonio Nogueira, Fabricio Werdum, Igor Vovchanchyn, Magomedkhan ‘Volk Han’ Gamzatkhanov. I’m not including Fedor Emelianenko for my own reasons. I used to include him, but not anymore,” Kharitonov said.
