Bogdan Guskov, a former MMA Series fighter, has a new opponent lined up in the UFC. The Uzbekistan representative is set to face former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night on Feb. 7, 2027, in Sydney, Australia.
Guskov competed in MMA Series from November 2022 to March 2023, earning three stoppage victories in as many appearances. None of his opponents made it past the opening round. His final two performances were particularly impressive: Guskov knocked out Alireza Vefaei in just 30 seconds before finishing Eduardo Carlos via TKO in only 25 seconds.
In July 2026, Guskov suffered a fifth-round TKO loss to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC Fight Night 282 in Abu Dhabi. The 34-year-old currently holds a professional MMA record of 18 wins, four losses and one draw.
Whittaker, a former UFC middleweight champion, made a successful move up to light heavyweight in the summer of 2026. The Australian scored a third-round TKO victory over Nikita Krylov at UFC 329. Whittaker, 35, holds a professional record of 27 wins and nine losses.
