Russian heavyweight Oleg Popov, who represents Fedor Team and Kuznya, has decided to resume competing in Russia and will soon join Fight Nights. The winner of last season’s PFL Grand Prix owns a record of 22 wins in 24 professional bouts.
Popov last fought in Russia in the summer of 2022, when he defeated Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva at MMA Series-53. Now, Oleg is set to join Fight Nights, with his promotional debut scheduled for the organization’s 135th event in Elista. Popov will face fellow Russian Magomed Magomedov, nicknamed “Molodoy” (“The Young One”).
