Former MMA Series fighter Viktor Kolesnik is set to make his latest appearance for Rizin when he faces Koyomi Matsushima on Oct. 3 in Nagasaki, Japan.

The Russian, who represents Krasnodar-based Kuznya, will be making his seventh appearance under the Rizin banner. Kolesnik has won four of his previous six fights with the Japanese promotion.

Before moving onto the international stage, Kolesnik put together a perfect run in MMA Series, going 4-0 in the promotion. His four victories included one knockout, one submission and two decision wins.

Kolesnik last competed in MMA Series in July 2022, when he defeated Jonatas Cavalcanti by split decision at MMA Series-54: Triumph.
