Russian Evgeny Tabarovsky will return to the MMA Series cage on Sept. 5 in Moscow, where he is set to face experienced Brazilian veteran Well Oliveira, better known as “Mutante,” at MMA Series-95.
Tabarovsky enters the matchup with an 11-6 professional record. The Russian is already familiar to MMA fans through appearances in MMA Series, Hardcore MMA and UAE Warriors. He has competed several times under the MMA Series banner, including a pair of bouts against Brazil’s Jefferson Goncalves.
Oliveira brings considerably more experience into the matchup. The 32-year-old Brazilian has competed in more than 70 professional fights, compiling a 40-31-1 record. Standing 6-foot-5 (195 cm), “Mutante” has fought across multiple weight classes and has regularly competed outside his native Brazil.
Oliveira is no stranger to Russian audiences, either, having already made four appearances in MMA Series. The Brazilian will look to make the most of his size and experience in Moscow, while Tabarovsky will be aiming to get back in the win column.
MMA Series-95 takes place Sept. 5 at the International Boxing Center in Moscow. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Dimitry Andryushko and former UFC and PFL veteran Francimar Barroso. The championship bout is scheduled for five rounds.
