Brazilian fighter Lucas Nascimento scored an impressive victory at ACA 207, held Sept. 12 in Krasnodar, Russia.
The former MMA Series standout stepped in on short notice to face Vadim Ogar, but the limited preparation time did little to slow him down as he pulled off one of the upsets of the night.
Nascimento went the full three rounds with Ogar and earned a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
Ogar entered the matchup with a 10-7 professional record and previous experience competing under the ACA banner, while Nascimento was making his promotional debut.
Nascimento is already a familiar name to MMA Series fans. The Brazilian competed eight times in the promotion, including a 2-on-2 bout, and previously challenged for the MMA Series featherweight title.
