MMA Series-95, scheduled for Sept. 5 in Moscow, will feature a women’s bout between Evangelina Potemkina and Anastasia Lobunskaya. The two fighters enter the matchup with contrasting levels of experience: Potemkina has already competed several times as a professional, while Lobunskaya will be making her pro MMA debut.

Representing Tambov, Potemkina holds the Russian Master of Sport title in MMA and is a winner of an All-Russian mixed martial arts tournament. She has competed four times as a professional, compiling a 2-2 record.

Potemkina last fought in May 2026, when she avoided the judges’ scorecards and secured a stoppage victory.

For Lobunskaya, MMA Series-95 will mark the beginning of a new chapter in her career. She has yet to compete professionally in mixed martial arts but brings significant competitive experience in kudo. Lobunskaya is a Russian champion, a black belt and the winner of an All-Russian tournament in the discipline. She represents Moscow-based Akula fight club.

The Sept. 5 matchup will therefore bring together two athletes with very different backgrounds: Potemkina will look to capitalize on her professional MMA experience, while Lobunskaya will test her decorated kudo credentials in the professional cage for the first time.
