MMA Series fighter Maxim Namitov has shared his prediction for the highly anticipated trilogy fight between UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili. The Russian fighter is confident his compatriot will come out on top, calling Yan the best fighter in the division.

"We're rooting for our big brother, Petr Yan. I believe that when Petr is at his best and fully healthy, nobody at 135 pounds can beat him. He's the best fighter in the division. When he's in top form, there's simply no answer for his game. I'm confident he'll win," Namitov said.

Yan and Dvalishvili are set to meet for a third time on Oct. 24 in the co-main event of UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Yan's UFC bantamweight title will be on the line.

The rivalry is currently tied at 1-1. Dvalishvili claimed a unanimous decision victory in their first meeting in March 2023. Yan got his revenge in December 2025, earning a decision win after five rounds to reclaim the bantamweight championship.

Their upcoming showdown will settle the score and determine the winner of the trilogy.
