Former MMA Series fighter Shamil Gaziev has his next UFC opponent. The heavyweight will face Brazil’s Tallison Teixeira on November 21 at the promotion’s event in Doha.

Gaziev will return to action following a stoppage victory over Kennedy Nzechukwu. Their bout took place on August 23 at UFC Fight Night 285 in Sacramento and ended in the opening round, with Gaziev scoring a knockout.

Gaziev currently holds a professional record of 15 wins and three losses. Before joining the world’s leading MMA promotion, the heavyweight made a name for himself competing in MMA Series.

His upcoming opponent, Tallison Teixeira, owns a 9-2 professional record. The Brazilian last competed in May 2026, when he faced Sergei Pavlovich and suffered a first-round knockout loss.
