A welterweight bout between Danil Vaganov and Gleb Mikhalev is scheduled for May 30 at MMA Series-94 in Moscow. The fight will mark Vaganov’s first appearance for the promotion in more than five years.
The 33-year-old Vaganov represents Saint Petersburg’s Sech team and has been competing professionally in MMA since December 2015. Over the course of his career, he has fought 19 times and posted 10 wins, including six by knockout and two by submission.
Vaganov made his MMA Series debut at the promotion’s inaugural event on March 1, 2020, when he defeated Fazliddin Obidov. He has fought four times under the MMA Series banner, going 2-2. His most recent appearance in the promotion came in March 2021.
Standing across from him will be Gleb Mikhalev, who represents Moscow and the Druzhina team. Mikhalev owns a 2-1 record through three professional bouts.
Mikhalev made his MMA Series debut on Oct. 11, 2025, at MMA Series-92, where he defeated Nasrulla Magomedov by unanimous decision after three rounds. That matchup was also nominated for MMA-TV.COM Awards honors in the 2025 Fight of the Year category.
